To the third annual Hooked On The Tonawandas
fishing tournament that will be held Saturday, June
29th and Sunday, June 30th, 2013. You do not need a N.Y.S.
fishing license these two days. Anyone can fish legally. This tournament takes place on the banks
of the Erie Canal in Tonawanda and North Tonawanda, NY. Boat fishing is allowed. Everyone in the
boat must be registered for the 2 day tournament. Plenty of shoreline for all of those without a boat.
Must be registered to be eligible to win any cash prize. The 2013 tournament will have a different format. There will be 5
different species categories for cash prizes. Winners will be determined by the fish's weight
not by overall length. As of now, there is $3500.00 for cash
prizes and giveaways.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Individuals must be registered the day before they fish to be eligible for cash prizes during
the two day fishing contest. Registration may be done online by clicking the online registration
button at the top of this page. Be sure to allow time for your registration form and check to reach us in time by mail. Registration
at the Gateway Harbor will be at the Tonawanda Harbor Master Building near the Long Homestead property Friday, June
28th, from noon to 6PM. Saturday starting at 7AM to be eligible to fish on Sunday. See

HOOKED on the TONAWANDAS
The Hooked on the Tonawandas tournament was
developed to create a new event for Gateway Harbor and to draw awareness to the Erie Canal as a fishing destination. For 2013, we partnered up with Mercy Flight to help raise funds
for their organization.
Mercy Flight Mission
Gateway Harbor is the Western Gateway to the Erie Canal located between
the twin cities of North Tonawanda and Tonawanda in Western New York. Restaurants, the arts, live music, and a beautiful waterfront
park makes Gateway Harbor a destination for everyone. Click
